The Montreal Brainwashing Experiments go back almost 80 years.  That is a lot of time to be overlooked and ignored by our government.  When the Depatterned Persons Assistance Program was introduced in 1992, the parameters were such that very few people were compensated, and the amount of compensation given out was miniscule compared to the trans-generational damage done to families as a result of those experiments.  By filing this class action suit, we hope for healing, closure and compensation to all those who suffered and to those family members who still suffer today.
